I took my 5 year old daughter to get her hair braided and it was such a great experience. They were so patient as well as gentle with her. All of the women and kind and welcoming as always. I also went back 2 days later for my own service and it was a great experience from the hair washing to the Senegalese twist. I left feeling so relaxed and my hair is beautiful! I will never go to another shop.
I requested small braids and small part and once the ladies finished my hair I saw it wasn’t what I asked for. The young lady even asked me to see a picture of what I wanted and I showed them a picture from their TikTok page. I also expressed to them not to put a lot of product in my hair due to my hair texture and the young thought if she move the tray I wasn’t going to know she was still putting products in my hair. I must admit the last time they braided my hair they did a great job however I had the older/ more mature women braiding my hair and this time it was the younger ladies. I knew it was pointless to complain to them so I will just not return as a customer.
I give this braiding shop, 2 stars which is kind of high for my experience. I was quoted one prize. Once I sat down in the chair and got my hair braided, they quoted me a totally different price because of the length of my hair.. mind you they didn’t even braid my entire head, because my hair was too short in the very back for them to grip and I was OK with that. They were friendly and very quick with braiding but what I didn’t like about my zillions they parted the parts vary widely, so it doesn’t look as neat & nice.
