This is not a family practice, it is just a money making machine attached to Beaumont. My pediatrician, when I was a child still remembers me to this day but my practitioner at Western Wayne physicians would not remember me from Adam, when he sees me. After 18 years of them being my physicians, I would not trust them with a real health concern.

Western Wayne Physicians are a staple office in Dearborn for more than 30 years. A caring stable of doctors and nurses that provide excellent care and demonstrate good bedside manner. Additionally, I’ve had good experiences finding their referrals of high quality and top standards. Lastly, their administrative staff operates at a high level while maybe not perfect, they are tremendous in such a challenging public facing role.

I like Dr Welker. HOWEVER the staff at the desk can be extremely rude and inadequate. I was coming for a physical, and they were supposed to mail bloodwork script out, after 4 weeks of waiting, I called. It supposedly was still awaiting approval in the nurses mailbox. I got to my appointment, and am usually seen promptly. But my last visit I waited over an hour. I understand things happen (I too work by appointment). When I asked The staff how much longer, the response was "have a seat they will call you when ready." This was Friday.Dr was supposed to refill my blood pressure meds. I called Monday and they said he never sent it over, and it would be done at the latest...read full review
