Worse vet around. They misdiagnosed my dog too.I spent $180 for them to tell me they have no idea what it was but they THINK it’s allergies. And now want more money to just guess again.
It’s family owned and they are all rude! I called to make an appointment for my dog today Laurie was extremely mean. Said “sounds like we can’t help you!” Because I was wondering why they couldn’t treat my cat who wasn’t vaccinated. I really can’t get the antibiotics with out her getting vaccinated? This infection moved from my dog to my cat now, after you guys misdiagnosed him. Then she starts shaming me that I didn’t come back sooner. Yea sorry for following your original orders when you told me it was just allergies. You’re rude and it’s clear you don’t need the money, you guys must be sooo rich you don’t need new clients? Don’t go here people! Read the other reviews! The old man is mean and hits peoples dogs. Other people called him inpatient. And they will treat you like they don’t care if you are there or not. I wish my vet who treated my horses would treat dogs. Much more reasonable, more respectful and honestly they seem like they know more. This vet should go out of business. I have a problem with them every-time I am there! Do you think they will call me and tell me it was a misunderstanding? And ask me to remove this review? Nope. They also don’t care about Google reviews! They flat out have so much money that they don’t care about anyone. I see they don’t respond to their customers on here So good; I’ll never be back and I’ll go out of my way to make sure no one I know comes to see you.

Such a friendly and compassionate staff. From the moment you walk in to the moment you’re taken back! Doctor took the time to explain in detail what was happening to my mini schnauzer and why. He has also been very honest about her treatment and the effectiveness. Truly feels so good to be taken care of in moments of great stress and fear for your best friend.

Have been taking all of my labs here for 12 years. I have never had an issue with anyone. I will continue bringing my animals here.

Our family had a tragedy the Friday after Thanksgiving. Our regular vet was closed until Monday. Ruth at Almont Dryden Veterinary got us in immediately. Her kindness and compassion was incredible. We had a sad outcome but the Dr and staff made a difficult situation a bit easier.

I cannot say enough good things about Almont-Dryden Vet Clinic. After losing three outdoor cats under a different vet’s care, I was terrified to go to any vet again. When we brought our outside cat Galileo in, I expected to face expensive testing before any help was given. Instead, Dr. Carrie walked in, assessed her within seconds, clearly explained what was happening and why, and gave us a realistic long-term plan. She quite literally saved Galileo’s life. Her knowledge and experience are priceless.
A few months later a stray we named Pounce showed up on our deck with an unknown injury and was going downhill fast. The clinic got us in the same day we called with no extra charge. Dr. Tom cleaned and treated a massive wound with the perfect mix of gentleness and thoroughness while explaining everything we needed to do at home. His experience and quick action saved Pounce too.
The entire staff has been wonderful every single visit. Suzy and Ashton help keep the appointments running smoothly and treat every animal like their own. Mrs. Barkham is always kind and calm on the phone even when I’m not. You can feel that this team genuinely loves what they do.
I am so grateful to have found a clinic that is knowledgeable, compassionate, fair, and truly capable. I trust them fully with our outdoor cats — and that is something I never thought I would be able to say again. This clinic is knowledgeable, compassionate, and honest. I will never take my cats anywhere else. Highly recommend Almont-Dryden Vet Clinic.

They are so great AND THEY DEAL WITH POULTRY. Treated my son's ducks and chickens as if they were their own pets. Highly recommend!

Best experience i have ever had at a vet. Called 15 other places trying to find someone that would treat a duck that had been attacked by a dog and they were the only ones that accepted. Drove 30 minutes, they took us right back and let me hold her while they worked. They were all so kind and helpful. Highly recommend them and will gladly make the trip from now on to bring all of our animals there. She's not happy about being separated from her boyfriends but so thankful she atleast got the chance to survive!

I’ve only been coming to this vet for a short time but I really like them! Both doctors seem very knowledgeable. I’m usually in and out in 15 min. Not very much chitchat but it’s not necessary when the doctor can diagnose quickly! Prices are reasonable and most medications are available directly at the clinic. This practice is a solid 45 min away from me but it’s well worth the drive for a good vet!
