Called to request some help with a plumbing and heating problem and the lady I spoke to in the office was incredibly rude. She ended up saying that if I was not a current customer they could not help me but was incredibly rude about it and when asked if she could recommend another company she was unable to provide any information and told me to google it (which of course I had already). This was upsetting because I have heard great things about some of their employees but she was not it - callers beware :)

Garrett is the best! We didn't have heat in one zone, he came right away and, a few minutes later, determined the problem was the thermostat and had it fixed and warm in a few more minutes. He's very knowledgeable, fast, friendly and professional. Highly recommended!

I had the unfortunate encounter to talk with the lady on the phone to schedule a service and she was so incredibly rude. Her responses were we don't have time for this, and maybe I will call you back if I have too. Honestly it was kind of disgusting that someone even interacts this way in business. I would never recommend them to anyone on the island. It would seem that because they have been on the island for generations that they can say and do what they want. Whether they are the most expensive or the cheapest doesn't matter. Their customer service is disgusting...unless you have a lot of money to throw at them, then they will brown nose ya.

Wow! HG Reed responded within 1 hour of call for help. No heat in house. Fixed in less than 30 minutes. Garrett is so easy to work with. Great work guys!
