I have been getting tattoos from Phuc for over 20 years now, and to this day I still get compliments and people amazed at how well the colors and lines have held up. I have always been able to count on Phuc for great line work, vivid colors, and a wonderful shop atmosphere and experience. He is a true artist and also a wonderful person, and I wish I lived closer so he could do even more work for me. I will be retaining his art and tattoo services for many years to come, and honestly, you should too! Although he specializes in Japanese style, he is truly a jack of all styles and can do it all. Do yourself a favor and don’t sleep on Tsunami Tattoo and Phuc!

Might be the opposite of what you imagine a tattoo shop to be, but in all the best ways.
The space is quiet, calm, clean, and peaceful. It’s the second floor of a house, and you genuinely feel like you’ve been welcomed into a home.
And then the artists…are spectacular in really every way. Everyone I have met has been so nice, so cool, and of course so skilled and talented. They take their work tremendously seriously and produce amazing results. On top of all that, their prices are super reasonable.

Matt Dunn at Tsunami Tattoo in Portland absolutely crushed it. He did a full Japanese-style sleeve on my right arm and the result is unreal. The detail, flow, and overall composition are next level. You can tell he really understands the style and how to make it work perfectly on the body.
Beyond the work itself, Matt is just a great guy to spend time with. Super creative, easy to talk to, and he makes the whole process feel relaxed and collaborative. He takes your ideas and elevates them into something way better than you imagined.
