For anyone whose thinking about giving Normans business a bad review your an awful person. He will be 87 years old this month for crying out loud. So what if he didn't clip your hair straight or even. Nobody forced you to go into his shop and sit in his chair so stop wining. Hes been cutting hair for over 60 Years. Give the guy a break !

Norman is 85 and still working. Crazy. He's literally a living legend in Portland. He runs a no frills operation (as in, if you expect a finger of bourbon like you get at $60 joints, go elsewhere [or I dunno, bring a flask?]), but for $16, what the hell do you expect? Nice guy, easy chit chat, standard cut. I don't think I'd ask him to do color or frost tips or anything other than "just a trim," but hey, you do you, and if you *DO* go in asking to look like Bon Jovi circa 1990, please report back.

True old-school barber shop. Not many of them around any more. Norm gives excellent haircuts, only $10.00 if you're over 65. It's a step back in time. Not for everyone, but if you're a guy looking for a good basic haircut (and/or a shave) it would be hard to do better, especially for the price.
