The studio is fantastic for all hair types, including long and textured hair, and is highly recommended even if labeled as a barber shop. With amazing work and a wonderful experience, clients are very happy and consistently look forward to returning. It is absolutely worth a visit.
I had such a wonderful experience working with Dakota for a completely transformative haircut! I was nervous and unsure, but Dakota is confident, skilled, knowledgeable, and very safe/affirming to work with while finding a style to best suit your personal expression! The atmosphere of the shop was quite relaxing and personal. Very happy that I found Ritual and will be returning!
Got exactly the haircut I wanted (I wasn't 100% sure what I wanted but Rowan knew exactly the questions to ask to help me figure it out and now I can't stop looking in the mirror because it is perfect.) But also, equally important, is that for a short time, I felt like I could exhale and just be comfortable, something not often felt when I'm figuring out how I want to look. Absolutely worth the drive to Portland. Already looking forward to my next appointment.
Consummate professionals! My first haircut at this shop, won’t be the last. Great team here, Dakota cut my hair but I had the opportunity to watch Rowan take care of two other clients while I was there, and couldn’t help but notice her flair with hair. It’s fantastic to be in a shop where talented individuals practice a craft in which they excel and enjoy. Great conversations. Such a gem to find in Portland.
