I went in to see if they could repair a throw pillow that had a tear. The fabric was thick, and I'd gone to a couple other places but they couldn't do it. The alterations person at this location immediately said it wouldn't be a problem. It took less than a week, and only cost $10. Highly recommend.

We have dropped off numerous clothing items for alterations at PA in Portland on Forest ave., I must say, we are always pleased with their work and the price always seems more than fair for the work. The girls at the front have always been very pleasant and knowledgeable.

I was extremely impressed with my wedding dress cleaning and preservation at Pratt Abbott Forest Ave.! This location was recommended to me by a friend, who lives out of state but drove nearly 3 hours to this location to get her wedding dress cleaned and preserved last year. After my wedding, I took her recommendation and used them to take care of my dress (I'm local!) It took about two months for my dress to be complete, but I was very impressed with the process from start to finish (and the staff I worked with!)
