It’s also worth noting that platforms like The Knot and WeddingWire appear to allow vendors to delete or hide negative reviews, which made it harder for us to assess potential risks when booking. Given our experience, I would not recommend this vendor.

Holly almost completely ruined our wedding day. We had two separate hair trials that went great. She then proceeded to call me at 8am the morning of my wedding day to tell me that her father and her brother were in a fatal car accident and that they both did not make it. Naturally, I was heartbroken for her. I told her to please go be with her family and that I would figure something out.
It is important to note that I lost my brother a few years ago in a tragic accident, and that Holly knew this. A few hours after her initial call, it was brought to my attention that there was no car accident. That in actuality, Holly just wanted to vacation with her husband at the lake. What she did not count on, was how resourceful my friends and family are. We found her husbands Instagram, where she is on his stories, happy as a clam, enjoying her weekend. We then proceeded to do a little research and found that there were ZERO car accidents in that area that morning. Confirmation that she made the whole thing up.
My husband and I then proceeded to call her to find out why on earth she would do something so horrible. She took my grief, and concocted a story that would allow her to exploit it. All in hopes that she would would get to keep the $2100 that I paid her?? She literally had nothing to say. She knew the gig was up. My husband, who is an attorney continued to explain what the potential repercussions of her actions would be while Holly just kept trying to assure us that she would refund us.
She may actually refund us, as she is more than likely scared that we will sue her. Regardless, DO NOT BOOK THIS GIRL FOR YOU WEDDING OR ANY OTHER IMPORTANT EVENT SHE WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND CANCEL ON YOU DAY OF.

Holly was amazing! She did wedding hair and make up for me, an older bride, and my four younger bridesmaids. With a wide variety of hair types she managed to make every one of look our best. She’s personable, knowledgeable, and attentive to details. I highly recommend her and her team.

CANCELLED MORNING OF WEDDING!
Canceled first hair and makeup trial because she was out of state for her own bridal shower. No big deal cancelled flights happen right? 5:37 AM the morning of my wedding she had a “friend” cancel services for me and my 4 bridesmaids hair and makeup via Facebook messenger due to a “medical emergency” with no form of back up or help leaving me in a state of panic… Holly tried to keep my money for my trial after canceling within two hours of her contracted start time, after voicing how I deserved a full refund for her RUINING my wedding day she deleted me from Facebook. She was flip flopping the day before saying she might bring in help and start at a later time- instead she didn’t show . I can’t help but feel like she was dishonest about her hospitalization and she was too tired from her travels earlier in the week. Think twice before hiring Holly as she ruined what was supposed to be the best day of my life leaving me high and dry in a state of panic.

Highly recommend! Holly made this day even more special. We had a ton of fun and looked fabulous. Very professional and personable. :) She had awesome products, expert techniques, and really cared about what our vision was yet also helped to make suggestions! We were having fun getting ready and enjoying her company, it felt like she was an extension of the wedding party honestly. On top of that, we were even ahead of schedule, so had more time to relax before the ceremony. Holly was awesome! Very grateful to have used her services and can’t say enough good.

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Holly as my wedding makeup artist! She made me look absolutely stunning, with makeup that felt natural yet elevated — like my skin, but better. Holly took the time to really listen to what I wanted and made sure we perfected the look at the trial, so my wedding day went off without a hitch. She also worked her magic on my grandmother, mom, mother-in-law, and six of my bridesmaids, timing everything perfectly so we were done early and relaxed before the ceremony. I could not recommend Holly any more!! She did my last extensions and make up for my wedding, as well as make up for my bridesmaids, mom and mother in law. Everyone absolutely loved her, she kept things fun and made everyone so comfortable. My mom and mother in law rarely wear make up so they were really nervous about it, but Holly set them at ease and they were so happy with the way it turned out. Everyone looked gorgeous, and we had the best morning. 10/10

Holly did my lashes and then bridal make up for my party and i at my wedding. Holly partnered with hair stylist Allie Green and together they were sweet and so fun to be around. Everyone enjoyed the process and our hair and makeup came out top notch. We would recommend both of them over and over again!
