I grew up on Ludlow St. As a kid, I used to ride my bike through Evergreen Cemetery all the time. Looking back, it sounds a little strange, but some of my best memories were out there hanging on the hills, catching tadpoles and frogs by the ponds, and just exploring for hours. Every time I come back home to visit, I still make it a point to stop by here.

Beautiful cemetery with winding roads, points of interest, and many large trees and shrubs. There's a large map display in front of the main office. I was there on the weekend (office is closed), but luckily, they have an online arcgis interactive map to find my relatives.
Office hours are M-F 7am-3:30pm, closed for lunch 12-1pm.

One of the most beautiful cemeteries in the state of Maine. Well kept grounds and a peaceful walk.On a side note - I did see a ghost there in my youth, just outside the church, as I was on my walk out of the cemetery. Not that anyone would believe me without some proof, but I saw what I saw.
