Based on patient reviews, Kittery Family Practice has been a long-term provider for many, with some patients attending since 1979. Patients have had a wonderful experience without fail, with friendly staff who make going to the doctors a wonderful experience. Many appreciate the good listening and plan making from new PCPs, and the triage nurses on the phone are great support. Some of the best nurse practitioners have found things patients did not know was wrong, coming through with blood work and not giving up in finding what was wrong with neuropathy and fatigue. One patient loved their PCP from the first visit, noting the doctor takes time to go over all concerns, never makes them feel rushed, and has a pleasant and friendly bedside manner. However, other patients report they can rarely get to see a doctor or any PCP when needed, having to go to urgent care for anything other than annual checkups, and every single PCP leaves after a couple of years.
Been going here for long time. Had one doc for over 15yrs. Started with new PCP and am grateful for good listening and plan making. High five out to the triage nurses on the phone!! They are such great support for all kinds of things!
I have had 5 different PCPs at this practice over ~7 years; despite staff recommending a new PCP that has been there long term and is not likely to leave. PCPs constantly leave and I have never received a notice that my PCP had left the practice by mail or email despite the office having my correct contact info. I'm not sure why this location can't retain any physicians and why their method of contacting patients of those physicians is so poor. The walk-in clinic used to be an asset but that has also left.
