“We had a Mitsubishi cooling system installed to replace a very old failed unit. Mainely Plumbing & Heating was able to come and install a new unit within a few weeks of us contacting them. Tyler and Las showed up with the new equipment on time and finished in less than a half day. They took the time to go over features of the equipment. They also took additional steps to help defer any rodent damage to the outside unit. We would recommend them!“

“Ok, update, the same day I posted the previous review I got a text from Gammon's saying that the owner was going to try to come by to take a look. He arrived that evening around 7:30pm, very pleasant man, very sorry to hear about the things that had happened in the past as he was apparently unaware. I apologized that he had to come out so late and his reply was "I am a business owner that what is what I do". He discovered that there was a refrigerant leak and then said he would return the next day as he did not have the tools to fix it with him. I was not going to be there in the morning but he was okay with my 2 very large dogs, and by the time I got back from my class that morning the unit had been repaired and I had AC!!!! So, in all fairness, my review based on this last visit is a 5. I still can not ignore the prior issues but I feel as if the owner of the company does care and wants to do the right thing. There was no charge for this visit.“

“I had a great interaction with the receptionist and service coordinator letting me know exactly what to expect for charges and timing. True, plumbing repairs aren’t typically inexpensive, and after a holiday weekend one can’t expect to be moved ahead of people on contract or with serious emergencies.

They were able, however, to squeeze in a same day diagnostic visit from Michael, one of their experienced technicians. Michael was friendly and helpful, but I just get this happy feeling when I am watching a real expert exercise their craft. Michael was happy to have me pepper him with questions, answering while looking at me, clearly able to do this job blindfolded. He was fast enough to actually finish the job rather than just diagnose the problem, and all is working well with our hot water now. I’m a DIY’er who can do some useful plumbing, and I can recognize a true expert when I see one. Michael didn’t waste time or energy doing anything that didn’t have to be done. The expense is much easier to swallow when the plumbing show was as entertaining and educational as a Broadway play — seen from the front row. Many thanks to Michael and the crew at Atlantic!“
