I've been seen here several times over the course of several years. I saw a nurse practitioner today, Emily, and she was great. I've mostly had positive experiences across the board. The lost star is from the amount of wait time to actually be seen, even with an appointment. I will continue to use PCHC! Maine healthcare in general is pretty awful with lack of providers, FYI. It takes forever to get appointments anywhere in this state.
We went to walk in care. Our one and only time visiting this establishment. We had Long wait (1hr 15m, way faster than the NLEMMC wait soon mmmmm was the worst part…and it was hot in there. My husband kept falling asleep….Other than these issues; I am completely impressed. We saw the PA named Josh. He was heartwarmingly caring and incredible. His bedside manner was beyond comforting. He explained everything with calm demeanor and compassion. If I could make him my personal PCP forever I would. He sat on the floor cradling my husbands foot with concern. He treated us with dignity even when there was every reason not to.
