I've lived in the Bangor area for about five years and have been going here for routine repairs as long. Price is always fair to great, quality of work is always good, turnaround is always fast. This is honestly close to the only game in town after Linda on Hammond Street closed up shop.

I've always found that fine details you may have to specify at other alterers are taken care of here without needing to think about it; eg, I brought a pair of shorts with a contrast stitch to be hemmed, and they (very!) closely color matched the thread they used for the hem.

No cards but they do accept checks.

Craftsmanship at a reasonable price with a speedy turnaround. They've handled all of my military uniforms for hemming, darts, sleeve lace, and rank tab application.

Professional environment. It is cash only! However, next door in the hospital there is an ATM in the lobby.

I had such a great experience here! George helped me with alterations on three dresses for an important event, and they all turned out perfect.
