“I cannot say enough great things about Tim personally and the service his company provides. We have hired TLS to do two major landscaping jobs in at our home in Mount Airy now. The thing that initially impressed us was his actual designs. He actually listened to what we wanted and came up with perfect designs the first time in both instances. His plant selections were spot on and fit the property perfectly. The installation went smoothly, on schedule, and on budget for both projects. His foreman and crew were extremely professional, a pleasure to have at our home, and paid attention to detail. I was extremely impressed with the preparation work they did prior to installing the landscaping. It was far above what I expected. The custom paver walkway they installed is amazing and complete changed the look and feel of the entrance to our home. The low voltage lighting design and installation is also amazing. The pictures really don't do the finished product justice, and I know it will all look even more amazing next year. Tim delivered exactly what he promised, if not more. I wish all businesses operated the same way. I'll do business with him again in a heart beat if the opportunity arises. He's also just a great guy and someone I would have as a friend. Well, this weekend has been nothing but downpours of rain and we have absolutely no erosion issues!! The stone paver patio (15'x16') they built for us is beautiful and all of their work is done to perfection!! “Wonderful experience with Xtra Care. I live in a DC rowhouse and needed underdeck landscaping work to control the drainage/mosquito problems. Xtra Care was very attentive to cost and suitability needs, adjusting plans multiple times until we had exactly what we needed. “Hidey's is awesome! I've been dealing with them for a few years, mainly for servicing my golf cart. We've had some trouble with the batteries, which I bought new last year, and Hidey's has gone above and beyond in trying to work out the problem. Ultimately, Dee went back to the manufacturer and apparently raised heck :), and the manufacturer agreed to not only replace a bad battery but also to completely recharge the other three batteries so they'd be as good as new. After all that, Dee even decided to waive any cost, including for transporting the cart. I am MOST impressed and happy!“

“I was nervous about going here with the low reviews, but they are close and I just needed a large paver stone. I called ahead to see if they had it, and the man I spoke with said they did. I parked on the side of the gravel drive and went into the office, and the man who worked there took me out to show me the pavers they had and gave advice about what would work best for my purposes. He picked it up and loaded it in the car for me. I thought they were perfectly nice. I'll definitely be coming by again for future projects!“

“HL Design contractors were very, very good. We are very pleased with the new backyard paver patio job. We hired David and Cathy Howe to tackle a slope-challenge of installing pavers, river rock outline, and a fence, to cover our whole back yard, with a declined slope. It was a major job!They were very timely and started the job way quicker than we imagined and David’s team finished the job in 3 days. The work is top-notch. The pavers look very attractive; they decreased the slope to make it a level patio; the river rock is a very nice touch; The fence is looking great!David’s old-school touch of having a hand-written contract with drawings was different, but it worked! It was very unique! The communication was slow at times, but not bad. There were a couple of pavers that were loose after a week or so, but David’s team came out and fixed them, guaranteeing their work, which was great!We are very happy. Thanks HL Design Landscaping! We would definitely hire them again for other similar projects.“
“We've had issues with getting grass to take on our lawn. We recently had a pool installed and the entire backyard was dirt. From the get go, they were super friendly and very responsive. I dealt with zack, he was very helpful and responsive. We chose to go fas gras option. I was skeptical at first but just like they said, the grass began to grow and flourish in less then 3 weeks.
