GBMC at Joppa Road - Internal & Family Medicine Physicians

This office has the most unacceptable phone system that I have ever seen in my life! I have worked for a very busy medical practice in Towson for 30 years. Our office has a “no more than 3 ring” policy whereby we pick up the phone within that time. This Joppa office is totally fine to let you sit on hold for up to 45 mins BEFORE YOU reach the office! Today I asked the girl why? She said “Oh we are very busy and receiving a lot of calls”.

Really? That’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard!! HIRE someone then to field calls!

had a wonderful experience in the pediatric ER. They have a child specialist who helps with making it easier and fun for the kids and my daughter loved it. The doctor were on top of it. I came in with 3 kids, 1 to be seen and I was out in 2.5 hours. I was just so impressed and thankful for the care!

Awful. I have been with GBMC Physicians Joppa Road for 18 years. The PA I had been seeing (which was initially because she had faster appointments than the actual physicians) and she is now leaving the practice. I was told when I called for an appt., that since the Nurse Practitioner is leaving, I have to go on a waiting list to get a new doctor as the other existing physicians "are not accepting new patients." I am not a new patient of the practice, unless these doctors started their own individual practices within the group. This is NOT a result of COVID.
