412 Eastern Blvd, Essex“Baltimore Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is the kind of place that keeps people coming back because it is real, disciplined, and welcoming without being soft. The instruction is clear, technical, and purposeful. Coaches focus on fundamentals, pressure testing, and steady progression rather than gimmicks or ego. Training is physically demanding but structured, so you leave knowing you worked hard and actually improved. The culture is the differentiator. No one cares about your age, size, or starting point. There is zero judgment, just accountability and mutual respect. Everyone is there to learn, get better, and put the work in. For me, it feels like home. It is challenging, humbling, and sustainable. I would rather leave exhausted, sweaty, and mentally sharper than bored on a machine staring at a wall. This is training with purpose, not fitness theater.“

1750 Union Ave Unit A2, Baltimore“I like Aikido because it does not emphasize the use of force or violence, but rather focuses on how to use your opponent strength and momentum to your advantage. this means that even if you are small or not very strong, that you can still do this Marshall art well. it is also a great way to develop your body awareness and practice mindfulness. As someone who has been working from home for the past two years, the Dojo has also served as a great source for community for me. everyone here is very friendly and welcoming to students of all levels of experience. The membership is very affordable, and I believe your first two classes are free. I highly recommend anyone who is interested in martial art or is looking for a community to come check it out.“

“If you are serious about learning Taekwondo, Elite Core Martial Arts is absolutely the right place. It offers a cohesive experience that combines physical training with character development and education.
Under Master David”s leadership, students gain much more than martial arts skills. They build discipline, confidence, resilience, and focus — tools that help them overcome challenges both inside and outside the dojo. Situations that once felt overwhelming gradually become manageable, and children learn how to approach obstacles with strength and composure.
Highly recommend!“
