Country Comfort Kennels & Camp for Pets were able to fit us in for a day stay due to an unexpected house emergency. Everyone was super friendly from the first phone call through drop-off and pick-up. During the last 10 minutes of the car ride to board my two cats, one of them had a poop accident in their carrier. The staff at Country Comfort Kennels & Camp for Pets cleaned the carrier and my cat, knowing I wasn't able to enter my house for most of the day. They were very reassuring since this was the first time I had ever boarded my cats. They even offered to board my two cats overnight if needed, and they had everything they would need in case of a last-minute stay. Thank you for making our first stay an easier transition and for making a crazy morning and day less crazy. We will be returning in the near future. Thank you for the amazing care of my boys and great customer service.

I was in a bind and contacted Country Comfort Kennels who came through! The employees actually like their jobs, and it shows. I've been going here for a very long time and would recommend them to anyone who needs to board their animals.

I used to like this kennel but it has gone way down hill and it seems they are not investing money back into their business. No one answers the phone , ever , for any reason This started during COVID and now they now blame it on labor shortage, but they should be back to normal by now. Maybe they need to pay more per hour to get some teens to want to work there ? . All reservations need to be made through the website. Then you need to wait a day to see if they have room and they get back to you via form letter email. This does not work when you have a last minute trip and need to know right a way if there is room. They take a deposit at the time of the request, not at the time of booking. So if you are trying to make a last minute reservation, and put a request in, then call around to see if any other kennel has room just in case CCK does not and book somewhere else...then they accept your request a day later or more, they will keep your deposit, even though you were just looking to see if they had room for your pet. We have always used the shuttles service , which used to be a large air conditioned bus. Now they bring my dog back to me in a crate on the floor of a minivan and he cant see out of it which I think seems scary for a dog. Since e use the shuttle service and have NO contact with a human at the facility, I have no clue what i going on there or if he is being cared for by people or not. It is not a good business model for a place that you are entrusting the care of your pets if you can never speak to a human. Harder to get a reservation since they closed the Delta facility. Last time my dog was returned to me with more food left than should have been since I had measured out the amount he would need and he had visibly lost weight. Of course, I could not call to talk to anyone about this , because they don't answer the phone. I used to refer all my friends to this place, but am so disappointed in them since they stopped answering the phone. Will not go back.
