From the waiting room with offers of snacks and drinks, to the shampoo station with amazing head massage (thank you Stephanie!), to the hair designer who really listens to you and brainstorms with you the best cut for your needs and desires (thanks Bekah!!). I love the ease of making appointments online or via the phone, the reminders, the ease of changing and rescheduling, and the possitive environment at the saloon. “Just had my first dermaplane facial at Melted and it was amazing! Olivia was very informative and friendly. I can be a little nervous about facials but Olivia made me feel comfortable, and answered all my questions. I loved that it was both a full facial and dermaplaning - it was very relaxing! She also did some much needed extractions. Afterwards, my skin was GLOWING and I was feeling a lot better about the texture. “I went here twice for eye brow threading and Julie was excellent! I really liked the way she styled my eyebrows and I was excited to have a local place to go. However, when I went to make my third appointment, I noticed that the price had nearly doubled and is now $25- and that's without tip. Unfortunately I can't justify that cost anymore so I will be returning to a salon in Parkville with more reasonable rates.“

“Nice, hidden massage spot located near Stevenson square. The spa itself is nice. There is a zen den with fruit water and tea options. The massage that I had was good and included hot stones and hot towels. The gift shop near the entrance had some cute dresses.“

“Prime, Fells Point rowhouse hidden among the bars boasts a GORGEOUS wax studio. It's perfectly and thoughtfully decorated, very inviting, very clean. I love the dusty pink decor!
The 2 ladies (albeit, one of them is leaving soon) are so professional, responsive, nice... Cara checked in on me before and after my wax because I told her I'd had some bad experiences with people who didn't know how to pull my particular color hair and I ended up with dozens of ingrowns. The actual waxer took her time, she was friendly but not overly talkative, and she really knew what she was doing. Plus, it's cheaper than my regular studio by a lot, so I am able to leave a much bigger tip. I cannot say more nice things about this place; so glad to have found it.“
