We hired them to do all sorts of modifications around our home, and everything was completed to our satisfaction. Bruce is extremely thorough in his work. We had many railings and grab bars installed, as well as modifying some stairs to have a lower rise. Additionally, he helped us with a ramp leading out of the house into the garage, which works beautifully. He made many helpful suggestions which we never would have thought of. I sought its assistance to replace my kitchen and bathroom sink faucets, as well as replace the bath shower head; caulk around the bathtub and install a “grab bar” there; plus replace the toilet’s flush lever. During this work, TYG’s chief handyman noticed that my bathroom sink and tub were very slow to drain, so he returned the next day with equipment to clear the drain. Over the 15 years I've lived in my home, I have hired many professional plumbers to improve drainage in the bathroom sink and tub, and none were completely successful — except for TYG Handyman Services! For the first time ever, my bathroom sink and tub drain immediately. Amazing! I am so happy with their work. I am making a new list of handyman items for their next service visit. “We recently hired Jim Adams for a repair to our ceiling that had to be fixed due to water damage. We could not have asked for more from Jim. He was honest (we agree with what the other reviews said - he does not tell you things need to be repaired when they don't), reasonably priced, responsive, prompt and did great work - we can't even tell anything happened.We will definitely be using Jim in the future for everything he can help us with around the house.“

“House Doctors did a great job getting our house ready to list on the market. We had a weird laundry list of items we needed done, and they did it all!! I found their price very reasonable, and the service tech who did all our work was on-time, thorough, and tried to save us money wherever possible. They did an excellent job matching existing paint, but I wasn't prepared for the way they do that (cutting a square from the wall, taking it to get matched, and then patching and painting the wall). So just be prepared for that or ask questions beforehand. But truly the paint color matching was right on point. I would use them again for tasks around the house! Some examples of what they did for us: tightening doorhandles, caulking crown moulding and windowsills, patching picture frame holes in the wall and painting, minor electrical work, fixing closet door tracks so they opened smoothly, painting a kitchen booth, tearing down a rain guard under our deck, removing the bottom few inches of our shed and putting a white trim around it instead. They did a GREAT job!!“

“Ben transformed a portion of our basement into a laundry space with a half bath. We looked for two years to find someone who would do what we were asking for; Ben turned out to be the guy! We enjoyed working with him. He did all the work by himself and we had to deal only with him which was great. Ben is very responsive and turns a project into a collaboration.
