I finally cashed in on a gifted makeup tutorial with Valerie and had the best time! I was a little nervous coming in as a makeup beginner, but Valerie put me right at ease and gave a great lesson - we focused on upping my daily routine to be a little more polished, and then some options to go bigger for more professional or formal settings. I learned a lot and got some great new product recs more appropriate for my skin/age. Highly recommend!

Last year I had a make up lesson with Valerie and can’t believe I haven’t left her a review yet, because I think about her when I’m putting on my makeup regularly! She is warm, relatable, and knows her stuff about makeup and skin care (especially for the over 40 woman). I was able to stop following influencers and spending money on products that don’t work for me. Valerie sent me link to all the products she used with me which was so helpful. Thanks, Valerie:)

As someone who doesn't wear a lot of makeup on a daily basis, the idea of getting my makeup done is always a little scary. What if I don't look like myself? With Val behind the brushes, I had no reason to worry. She made me look like a slightly enhanced version of myself, in the best way. Even false eyelashes (which I had doubts about!) looked natural and gorgeous. Plus, sitting in her chair is like having coffee with a good friend, and that makes it so much easier. Five stars isn't enough!
