I called and ask to come in for consultation to see if she would be able to braid my hair as i am currently growing out hair from a big chop. She asked that i send pictures, of which she replied she would be able to do.The next day i arrived and she advised my hair was shorter than what she expected and it would be an additionsl $20.The goal was to receive box braids. She started by braiding braid a little more than half way down, and slightly burning where she stopped w a lighter, i assume to prevent braid from coming undone while she braided rest of my hair. By far the WORST experience I’ve had with any stylist in ANY state. I made my appointment 2 weeks ago for 8am and sent her the picture of the exact hairstyle and color I wanted. On the day of she rescheduled my appointment for 4pm due to the stylist having an emergency. When I arrived to a shop a different stylist was there and she said she could NOT do the style I requested 2 weeks prior and they did not have the hair color I asked for. Afterwards, she called in a favor for another stylists 5 blocks away to do the style I asked for but I HAD TO WALK TO HER MYSELF and they had the NERVE to still try to charge me full price!
