I’ve been coming to Cynthia’s Natural Locs & More for a while now, and every time I leave feeling so confident and refreshed. My most recent visit was for a retwist and style, and I honestly loved how my hair turned out. Cynthia took her time, made sure my parts were clean, my scalp was comfortable, and the end result looked amazing.
She really knows what she’s doing, you can tell she’s been in this industry for years. She explained what products she was using, made sure nothing irritated my scalp, and even gave me tips on how to maintain my hair in between visits. The shop itself has a calm, welcoming vibe, you can relax, watch a movie, or just enjoy good conversation while she works.
What I really appreciate most is how professional and caring she is. She listens to what you want and makes sure you’re happy with your results before you leave. My locs always come out neat, moisturized, and healthy.
If you’re looking for someone who’s experienced, gentle, and truly cares about your hair. I definitely recommend Cynthia. She’s amazing at what she does and her passion shows every single time!

Cynthia's Natural Locs&More is highly professional. I completely recommend. Please don't believe the negative reviews. Especially any of them that say SCAM ALERT. People are so unhappy with in them selves they slander others.For no actual reason. Be aware of those SCAMMERS!!

Cynthia is the BEST … she’s very professional and friendly…she started my locs off and they are beautiful. Her prices is worth it and I usually get my hair redone every 3 months. She’s the only person I trust with my hair 😊 … I am never disappointed with my services received .

SCAM!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING TO CYNTHIA! Pictures included & in depth experience. To try and sum up my bad experience, I was scammed, Cynthia has terrible customer service, lack of accountability, & made many excuses as to why the service she advertised & I paid for was not provided to me. Out of $275 I only received a partial refund of $50. I still have to go to & pay another hair technician to fix my hair. Hopefully if you decide to go her, you will have a better experience. For more details keep reading. Pictures show what I wanted & paid for vs. what I got. This was probably my 4th or 5th visit returning to Cynthia. I never received color from her before, which she advertises she can do. I sent a message with the color I wanted which was ginger/copper & the state of my current hair. She said she could do it. My before & after look almost exactly the same excluding my roots. I paid which was $275 - $70 was just for the color, & $40 was for bleaching, the breakdown was explained after the service was attempted. All Cynthia said was “$275 for everything” initially through text. She told me my whole head needed bleaching to achieve the color I wanted, but still only bleached my roots. When she started I could already sense something was off. She started by drowning my hair, so my hair was soaking wet when she went in aggressively with the bleach straight to my scalp starting at my edges. After the bleach was applied she rubbed the excess from my roots down my shafts not penetrating my locs at all. She then tells me to go sit under the dryer. I believe she set the time for about 25 minutes. After about 8 minutes my edges were blonde & my scalp was BURNING! I let her know & she takes me back to the shampoo bowl. She used some type of mint shampoo which made it 10X worse. My body was overheating, my scalp felt like it was on fire, & I felt like I was about to pass out! Her response to me being in pain was "Yes it does tingle I was just washing my hair before you came in". Completely trying to invalidate my pain and discomfort. I expected to leave with the ginger/copper color, that did not happen. BEFORE leaving I clearly expressed that my hair is not ginger & I did not like the color. My roots are the only “ginger” you see because that is the only area she bleached. My hair shafts are brown with a few green pieces, with a ginger-ish rinse at best. Her response was she thinks it’s ginger, but also told me to wait a week for my hair to dry and I will see the “true” color. & the few green locs I have she couldn’t do anything about. That in itself made no sense to me. I paid & left very disappointed. I contacted her again after I left the salon expressing this is not what I paid for and I didn’t like it regardless, & she told me she would redo the color & bleach my shafts to make sure it’s “ginger”, but in 2 weeks because she didn’t want to “over process my hair”. 2 1/2 weeks go by I reach back out & she tells me the green she isn’t responsible for and can’t do anything about & she still can’t guarantee the rest of my hair to be ginger, which I already paid for her to do. So I made the sound decision to ask for my refund for the coloring portion of my service. Which is only $70. She refused & went on to explain how many boxes of dye she used in my hair, & how much all of her materials cost, etc. If before starting my hair, you know the green specifically is a problem for you why not decline? She overcharged for a service she could not do. I now have to go pay someone else to possibly fix my hair. Again, I DO NOT recommend Cynthia!!!
