“This is the first haircut I've had in literally 6 years that I've loved. Katie is a master at what she does. I was extremely nervous to try someone new and it had been 18+ months since a professional had touched my very long hair because I had been trying to grow it out and it had been mercilessly chopped off by the last two people to cut it. Not only did she keep all the length she could but she cut my hair in a way that got it to curl back up more than it has in a long time. The cut has grown out beautifully.Also the boutique they have has super cute stuff and the place is super welcoming. As a late-diagnosed AuDHDer who gets overstimulated easily I was super comfortable the entire time and she didn't mind when I got up to move around or when I was fidgety. There's not a lot of places I feel totally comfortable being fully unmasked but Soul Love is absolutely one of them.I live in Alexandria and will happily make the ~2 hour drive up to Baltimore again <3“

“After several years searching for a great hair stylist and colorist, I am SO happy that I found Candace, the owner of Charm City Hair Studio. I've been coming here now for a couple of years, and won't go anywhere else (so please don't move Candace!). She does such an amazing job with my hair color and cut, and the prices are very reasonable too! And she is warm and friendly, and really listens to what I'm looking for. The pictures below are from today: I was growing out my lighter blonde "summer hair" which had turned a bit yellow, and I asked Candace for something more blended and natural, a bit cooler but not ashy, and lots of dimension. “I have been going to Prisca for over 5 years to do my hair. She’s very pleasant and patient with me. There was a time I went late, I did not get a chance to wash my hair before braiding it; she wants my hair with her Luxury ( peppermint mint) shampoo and conditioner, my hair felt so soft and my scalp was clean. I was the only client in her studio and my braid were comfortable, I was able to put my braids in a ponytail. I will definitely return to the Studio and I will definitely recommend it and give it 5 star.“
