I had the privilege to get home physical therapy by Chris Burton of Phoenix after my recent total knee replacement. I had worked with different therapists before my surgery. Chris is the best therapist I have ever come across. He is patient, understanding and highly resilient. My PT was interrupted for 2 weeks due to my hospitalization for a different reason. But Chris, as determined and resilient as he is, he helped me to get back on track sooner than I expected. The staff at Phoenix Physical Therapy in Rockville, Maryland is extremely competent and professional in providing rehabilitation treatment to clients. They communicate effectively so that their clients understand how to perform needed movements and to supplement their therapy with exercises at home in order to optimize the desired outcome of the therapeutic process. The physical therapy staff is supported by office staff that efficiently handles all the administrative support related to appointments and insurance. This is a delightful group to have supporting you in a time that can be painful and frustrating.

I have been going to Phoenix since March and made great progress. Melissa had me standing with a walker at my first visit! Now I have progressed to standing for longer and longer periods. Spencer is another therapist I have worked with in my time at Phoenix and he brought a different perspective and was an immense help with standing but also exercises to increase my spinal mobility. You couldn't have a more professional yet approachable group, including Debbie the receptionist. I look forward to working with these practitioners to reach full recovery.

My experience with Phoenix Physical Therapy in Rockville has been nothing but positive. During the past year I have received excellent treatment and have had a very good outcome.From my first therapy visit through my last, I have felt welcomed and valued as a patient. The professionalism of each therapist, as well as that of the supportive associate, has been consistently outstanding.

It is a great place for physical rehab. I would recommend it very strongly.I had a rotator cuff repair on September 2021, and a friend recommended Phoenix Physical Therapy in Rockville. I worked with Jon, Melissa, Nicole, Tricia, Isaac, and all of them were EXCELLENT!!! Not only very professional and patient- oriented, but they also make you feel like at home, they are warm and attentive, and you can also have a conversation with them, while they are helping you with your rehab.After my left shoulder recovered from the surgery (5-6 months), the orthopedist prescribed physical therapy also for my right shoulder, which had a pair of tendons broken. As surgery would not fix it, I did therapy with many of the amazing therapists mentioned above. It was awesome!!. After 5-6 months, my right shoulder is much better.A special mention should be made regarding Debbie, which works at the front desk and completes this amazing team. Even though she is not a therapist, she would help you to get your schedule set, keeps everything clean, and many times will help you with the stem and the heat or cold therapy. Very important part of the team.After I recovered from both shoulders, my orthopedist recommended to continue exercising independently.Well, I am not a person to keep a work out routine at home. So, I decided to take advantage of their program where for a reasonable monthly fee you can go and exercise to keep your fitness level. And they are there, ready to give advice and orient you in your routine, if needed.

I had the pleasure of working with Melissa as my physical therapist. Not only is the facility very clean and up-to-date but she was extremely attentive to listening and putting a plan together to help me rehabilitate my injuries. She is extremely warm and welcoming and always had a smile on her face which I believe helped me mentally get through the program that she devised for me. I also had the pleasure of getting to know Debbie (front desk) as she was always helpful on the phone or in person to schedule my appointments and answer any questions I might have. I highly recommend this Physical Therapy facility in Rockville, you won’t be disappointed!!

The staff at Phoenix is great and always so helpful. The fact that they make my time at PT fun and are great with their hands. I would recommend them to anyone I know ! I am also glad they were so close to my office and was able to work with my schedule!! Melissa cared about not only my PT issues but made me feel comfortable talking about my personal life.

The staff are all great, very friendly, all work well together, including Debbie who is not only a receptionist but also assists with keeping stations cleaned and ready for the next patient.

I've been receiving therapy at Phoenix Physical Therapy l for the last 4 months and have received great care. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. Scheduling is easy and flexible. I've seen steady improvement and would highly recommend them.

I recently completed four-plus months of PT at the Phoenix Rockville facility, and could not be more pleased by the treatment and its successful outcome. Clinic director and physical therapist Melissa Knott is superb. She sets the tone for a very warm and friendly yet efficient operation, and scheduler-receptionist Debby is both well-organized and helpful.
