Mr Jackson’s thoughtful assessment of the work I wanted done, constructive suggestions, and knowledge of his craft made him the obvious choice.He removed the ceramic tile from three rooms and the carpet from another and replaced them with hardwood. He blended these new floors into the existing hardwood floors, which he also refinished. He demonstrated a determined and tireless work ethic that is admirable. “Carpet Workshop did an absolutely wonderful job refinishing our hardwood floors. We replaced the carpet in our dining room with new hardwood. This had to be stitched together with the existing, prefinished hardwood in our connected living room. I was worried that (i) the new wood would not match the old and (ii) that the extensive sanding required to remove the bevel from the prefinished old floor would lead to excessive dust. Happy to say neither was a problem. The new wood is SEEMLESSLY integrated with the old, making it impossible to tell the difference between the two. And there was almost no dust at all! Through the entire process, Joe and Allyson were an absolute pleasure to deal with and were always happy to answer our many (sometimes trivial) questions. In fact, when we started the process, we were thinking about **replacing** our hardwoods, which would have been more expensive. Joe and Allyson actually talked us out of this, and we saved a significant amount of money. Based on all these things, I would ABSOLUTELY recommend Carpet Workshop if you're thinking about new flooring.“
