“I had a wonderful experience at Magdalen’s studio. Goodbye EWC! I’ve haven’t seen any ingrown hairs since last Saturday (1week). I also have no itchy feeling, and my wax still looks like day 1! Magdalen made the waxing comfortable with jokes, surprising advice and insight with Brazilian waxing, I had no pain. Her studio is gorgeous once you walk in, it’s beautiful, immaculate lighting and a clean space overall. “Fast and almost painless waxing. I would suggest not using the oil since waxers although wearing gloves touch the bottle, then touch your private areas. It’s simply not hygienic considering how many others use the same bottle. Perhaps bring your own oil. Or they could invest in an automatic oil pump . However staff is very friendly and very good.“

Please be aware when tht there is a down payment at the time of booking the session before you make the rest of the payment once your session is over. (E.g. a session that costs $120 would be paid $20 at the time of booking, then the other $100 once you come and finish your session).“

“Ladies I promise you when you see Khadija for the first time you will never go to another esthetician ever again! She is phenomenal! A truly amazing soul who cares about you AND knows how to properly wax. I used to get ingrowns going to other waxers, or leave with burns/bumps/patches of hair. I get the Brazilian (which is very reasonably priced) with no strips and she follows up with sugaring to grab all the hairs. Smooth as silk! I’ve been seeing Khadija for my Brazilians for over 5 years now and I wouldn’t go anywhere else as long as she’s in business. I travel from Bmore to her office in NoVA. Her office is beautiful, clean and cozy. Honestly, I can’t express how professional, thorough and caring she is. I wouldn’t trust my special bits with anyone else. “I consistently return to this salon even thought I live in Georgetown if that says anything. The salon is clean, the people are friendly, and it has the greatest selection of regular polish colors I’ve seen at a nail salon in the DC area (this is very important to me as I like to get a dip mani and regular pedi in matching colors - nothing crazy but I think many salons have stopped stocking regular polish to force you into gel). I took off one star because my dip manis don’t last quite 2 weeks here before the gel top coat starts to peel but that is common for me.“

“I was long overdue to remove my nails that was dipped in powder with extensions and Ann was able to see me the Friday morning after thanksgiving. I called in around 11am and they told me I could come right now. I drove over and they were able to assist me immediately. It took about an hour to remove the nails and I also got my eyebrows waxed. It was great how they were able to help me with my immediate need. I was very pleased and would come again!“
