We absolutely loved this dry cleaner, and have been bringing our good clothing in for many years. Everything was beautifully handled and put onto hangers precisely.
None of that is a problem now. What IS a problem is the strong smell of the cleaning fluid/material used. It literally reeks! It is as oppressive as cheap men's cologne. This changed several months ago, yet the shop keepers deny it. Will look for another cleaner.
The Royal Valet at Park Potomac is outstanding in all respects. I have experienced many businesses of this type throughout the Metropolitan Washington DC area and the Royal Valet is by far the best. I never have had a problem with any of my clothing and I bring in tailored suits, slacks and blazers regularly. Along with shirts.The extraordinary tailor on site is remarkable in her grasp of all details related to alterations and repairs.I highly recommend the Royal Valet. Fast and responsive. Since my last dry cleaner went out of business, I've been coming to Royal Valet. They are convenient and just around the corner from Harris Teeter. Their quality is good but customer service could be better.
