“Serrano Handyman is the most professional repairman in town. First and foremost, he is punctual; he showed up early on the scheduled day of work. Secondly, he completed the entire paint job in just one day. Third, he never asked for a down payment. The full payment was made after he completed the job. Last but not least, he did an excellent job. He painted the room like a true professional. Serrano has been a blessing for our family. I can’t express how difficult it has been to find the perfect handyman.

Before Serrano, we had been working with another handyman who always had excuses. We had planned to list our house for sale, but we needed to make some repairs first. Back in April, we called a handyman we found on Craigslist. He arrived late on the first day but guaranteed excellent service. We showed him the areas that needed repairs, and he asked for a down payment of $500 before starting the work. We agreed. The next day, he disappeared. When he finally contacted us a week later, he claimed that an employee who worked with him was sick, followed by his kids being sick. When he eventually arrived after several days, he worked for three hours, did a sloppy job, and then disappeared again for two days. After making multiple calls, he promised to return at a certain day and time but canceled due to car issues. It took him an extremely long time to complete less than half of the work he was supposed to do. He left again because of a family emergency.

Frustrated, I searched for another handyman with the best reviews and found Serrano. Thank God I found him; I couldn't be happier! He has gone above and beyond my expectations. I wish I had discovered him sooner and hadn’t wasted so much precious time. Serrano deserves an A++++!“

“I recently had the pleasure of working with Shawn from Superior Damage Restoration to address a persistent water leak issue in a penthouse duplex unit. The problem was that water was seeping through from under the flooring and down the stairs whenever it rained. Previous contractors had incorrectly suggested that the issue was with the balcony door.Shawn and his team provided a comprehensive explanation of the root cause and took a thorough approach to resolve it. They removed the damaged flooring, waterproofed the balcony door, and even assisted with moving furniture around during the process. Despite their initial efforts, the issue persisted, but they didn't give up. Using thermal devices, they identified that the water was actually coming from the rooftop, down the wall frame studs, and into the floor.Once the true source was identified, they promptly waterproofed the rooftop, and after the next rain, I was relieved to see that no water came through. The team then continued with the flooring work, and Shawn offered an excellent choice of new flooring that perfectly matched the shade of the rest of the unit.I'm extremely satisfied with the work done by Shawn and his team. They were accommodating, responsive, efficient, and pleasant to have around. I'm looking forward to working with them to waterproof other areas of the rooftop to ensure this issue is fully resolved. Most importantly, Jim helped resolve an unexpected mold issue discovered in our kitchen ceiling. This problem was much bigger that we anticipated. Fortunately, Jim was able to expertly and professionally remove the mold, replace sections of two copper pipes with pinhole leaks, repair a compromised roof rafter, and patch up the hole in the ceiling with new drywall and paint.
