This review is long overdue, but everyone should know how amazing Dr. Perl is! I adopted a very reactive dog who has lots of fear / aggression - so much so that my usual vet was unable (or unwilling) to examine him. Dr. Perl was able to sedate him and administer the required vaxes at my home, where my dog was most comfortable (taking to a veterinary clinic is pretty risky due to strangers and other animals). He was amazing and clearly had dealt with dogs like mine before - which made me feel much better! He's also got a wonderful personality and is more than pleasant to deal with - and didn't charge an extra arm or leg, which you might expect with house calls! I'll most definitely be calling him in the future - Highly recommend!
I cannot say enough about the wonderful care that Dr. Perl provided for our cat Ella. Dr. Perl is a wonderful human being, extremely professional and experienced, compassionate and kind. When we told him in what critical state our pet was, he came immediately to the house, was available for follow up phone calls and texts, and came back each day shortly after a phone conversation. He is in such high demand but nevertheless finds time to really care for your pet at home and talk you through the options. Thank you so much for your kindness and taking such good care of our beloved family member and pet Ella. Without all the experienced and warm care she received from you, she would very likely not have survived her illness. Dr.Perl is practical, practiced, calm and always centered on the pet AND the family. He has now sensitively and competently cared for nine pets of mine over the past ten years. We look forward to having him live forever.
