“We used Hershey Exteriors for a water leak repair on two occasions. The first occasion involved them putting covers over the plumbing vent pipe, which was professionally done. They also touched up other partially exposed nails with new shingles/silicone. The leak appeared in the same spot a month later, so when they came out again, they were able to go up into the attic and observe the problem area, per some videos I had my wife show them when they arrived. They immediately knew where to go, and they discovered the builder of my home in 2019 did not use zip tape to seal the flashing where it meets the plywood. This was a huge error by the builder, as this is not up to code. When Hershey Exteriors inspected the flashing, they noticed it was very poorly installed, and they sent me pictures of the repair afterwards. They installed new flashing with the zip tape all the way up to the ridge vent. The price was very reasonable, as well. I will be using Hershey Exteriors again in the future. Another huge plus with this company is that a real human answers the phone when you call, so you don't have to deal with the automated prompts. I would recommend Hershey Exteriors to everyone who needs any roofing or other exterior services. The two men who came out both times were Steve and Yuriel (my apologies I used incorrect spelling of his name). These two are a phenomenal team and work very well together.”
