My friend has been a long‑time client of this clinic and has always spoken highly of the staff. She’s been coming here for years and knows many of the employees by name, so she trusted this clinic deeply.

On 2/9/26, she brought her elderly dog in to be euthanized due to multiple serious medical issues and a significant decline in quality of life. After discussing options with the veterinarian, reviewing pricing, and making an informed decision, the necessary paperwork was signed. She and her mother were in the room preparing to say goodbye to their furry best friend.

At that point, a staff member she had never seen before entered the room and asked if they would give the dog to her so she could “try medications” to see if anything might help. This was not the technician assigned to the case, nor someone involved in the appointment. The timing and nature of this request were extremely inappropriate. The decision had already been made with the doctor, based on the dog’s extensive medical issuee including multiple cancers, new tumors, severe arthritis with atrophy, fluid buildup causing minimal movement, and significant pain. Suggesting that they surrender their dying pet to a stranger after the euthanasia process had already begun was unprofessional and deeply upsetting.

To make matters worse, this same staff member stared at them intensely while they checked out, as if they had done something wrong by choosing humane euthanasia for a suffering animal. If the clinic believed euthanasia was not appropriate, that conversation should have happened before paperwork was signed — not after, and certainly not through an uninvolved employee.

This experience turned an already heartbreaking moment into something far more distressing. My friend has always trusted this clinic, which makes this incident even more disappointing. Families deserve compassion, professionalism, and support during end‑of‑life care, not judgment or last‑minute interference from staff who were not part of the case.

Dr. Bisset is the best vet anyone could ask for. She is incredibly empathetic, kind, and gentle. I’m so thankful for her help with my sweet Bailey.

Been our vet since 2010 and has always been great! We breed Rottweilers and have 4 full grown pups. So we have had many visits over the years. Every doctor, tech and staff has great customer service and skill.

I called to bring my 130 pound baby in for an ear infection as a new patient and they fit me in today and I loved everyone . I’m pretty sure my dog would agree as well . They were very caring and sweet to him .
