Why did I choose to use JM Fletcher Heating and Air Conditioning over several other local businesses I interviewed? Excellent Service, Customer Care, and Thorough Knowledge of HVACs. Owner Chris Fletcher lives and concentrates his business in the Mt. Airy and Frederick area so he can service his customers easily. When I asked for references, he immediately gave me the names of his customers in my neighborhood. His family began the business in 1985 and now he is a single owner who takes care of his customers himself. What I found refreshing about Chris is that he listens to what you want and has the knowledge to customize your units to your satisfaction. He cares about the work he does and the customers who rely on his skills. I would highly recommend JM Fletcher for your heating and air conditioning installations and maintenance.
We had 4 different landscape companies provide us with recommendations for addressing a severe water erosion problem which prevented use of our backyard. 3 of them said it was undoable and that we could only divert the water once it had did its damage, Not Roberto, he proposed an excellent remedy. Well, this weekend has been nothing but downpours of rain and we have absolutely no erosion issues!! The stone paver patio (15'x16') they built for us is beautiful and all of their work is done to perfection!! Roberto communicated daily with us and worked with us to accommodate our landscape desires. We are beyond happy with Woodstone Landscaping!!Service: Landscape architecture services

Had a last minute need for a full deep cleaning. They were able to come same day and I can’t say enough about how amazing they did. Took light fixtures apart to clean them, pulled stove out and turned over furniture to clean underneath. Totally happy with the service and I’ll definitely be using them again!

Diligent remodeling just did our front door! They have also done all our windows, our back door, and our basement sliding door. There is a multitude of reasons we stick with them! I recently booked and had a great 90 minute massage with Faith Dixon at this salon. The salon is beautiful and extremely friendly and bright. Faith Dixon, is probably the best massage therapist I have ever used. I followed her from the QG in Baltimore to this salon in Mt Airy. Her session was worth an hour and 15 minute drive for me.
From the front desk to the shampoo ladies, the stylists and specialists , top of the line treatment and service . Dana and Deborah are fantastic , personable, knowledgeable, they ask , listen and offer suggestions. Very reasonably priced . Woulda’t go anywhere else !

Christine is great to work with and knows how to cut layers that really work for my curls. Has been willing to try every trendy hair color I've asked her for. She's great with kids too and my son always gets a great cut not just a buzz and my daughter loves all the new trendy colors that Chris can make happen!
It was my first time getting waxed & May was very friendly and welcoming. She set all my nervousness at ease. She was very professional and great at what she does. I’d highly recommend her!
Within less than 72 hours of our water main breaking, Reed and Sons had our house back on potable water with a new main re-routed across the property and installed. They did everything they could to make this awful repair go by as quickly as possible. They even jury-rigged a temporary water supply off our neighbor's hose bib (with their permission of course) in order to get us limited water as the repairs were going down. They also cleaned up some piping and valves around my water heater, making it a more sturdy, professional installation. Good ain't cheap and cheap ain't good. Reed and Sons did right by us and we're lifelong customers from this point on.
Real life scenario: my well broke during coldest part of month in winter 2024. I was without running water for weeks and we were so worried about getting scary news of needing to drill a $25,000 well in the middle of winter.
After a few more days without running water, I called top tier companies rated on Google for frederick Maryland. All of them were backlogged and hesitant about coming out to look at my well because roads were slippery from snow and ice.
2 companies agreed to come out. One came out to look into my well pit and said that I’d have to call back into the office to schedule a team to work on it. The other company (EASTER DAY WELL) came early the following morning and was able to wiggle jiggle the pump back into my well. The EasterDay crew consisted of 3 younger gentlemen that helped explain that the well pump was most likely blocked as it was going down the well shaft and just needed to be wiggle jiggled past the blockage.
To my amazement they were right! In blistering cold weather, the 3 man crew wrestled the nearly frozen well pipe past the obstruction.
I was so relieved to find that it wasn’t going to be bad news like “yeah it just looks like we need to schedule a few weeks / months out for our team to drill another well for you in your front yard for $35,000 and we offer financing”.
The fee for them to come out to inspect and fix the well was very reasonable and they were extremely time efficient. They wrote up a bill and seemed like they were lined up for full day of jobs for the remainder of the day.
Bless this company and hope they continue to do well!

I have heard great things about GSW from other neighbors who have used them, and I am so happy that I went with that recommendation! GSW (the owner George specifically) came over to my home to give an estimate the same day I had called. He was super personable, honest and quick to give us a quote. Two men came to do the work, and while we were expecting them needing to put some holes in our drywall to do the work, they were able to figure out a way to only put a whole in an unfinished closet space as to not mess up any of our walls. They were extremely nice, clean, and we could not have been happier with the work! Will most definitely use them again in the future.
We had a major issue at our office, and the job was scheduled as quickly as could be. In the meantime they worked with us for a work-around so that we would not need to reschedule patients. They are always very friendly, easy to work with and extremely professional. Highly recommend them for all your electrical needs. They are our go-to to keep our office running!

We used the Hardscape Store for approximate 500sf paver patio at the base of our deck. Kevin gave us a design idea that we tweaked a few times He had some great ideas and suggestions that we went with. I felt their prices were competitive, there were no surprises on cost or timelines. Great installation crew.

GMB Construction did an awesome job - took my house from a 9 Ci/L all the way down to outside levels (0.4pCi/L). The team also went above and beyond by replacing my sump pump lid assembly and sealing various cracks in the cement. Highly recommend!

I needed to rehab my 35 year old inground pool and went to the Pebbletec website. I was pointed to a Pebbletec Elite builder near me. After selecting new tile, coping and a pebblesheen finish from samples displayed in their studio I contracted with Rowan Landscaping & Pools of Mt. Airy MD. They are a family-owned business and take ultimate pride in what they do. I have to say that everyone I delt with, from the office to the workers were consummate professionals. The entire job, from demolition to refilling with water took about 2 weeks. The result is excellent; I could not be more pleased. I will be contracting with them for ongoing maintenance also. HL Design did an amazing job! Their price was so much better than the competition. One company came out and quoted me double HL Design's price and they were going to do wooden steps.
HL Design removed my old deck within a couple of hours. The install took only a few days as promised. The crew was very professional and cleaned up after themselves. They laid grass seeds afterwards. The grass has fully grown in now. I love my stone patio and would highly recommend them.
Chris answered my questions, accommodated my schedule, arrived when he said he would, and did what I needed for a fair price in a professional and friendly manner. That all just seems like good business sense, but it’s hard to find good workers these days. Chris stands above the rest, and I highly recommend him.??

We had an awesome experience with Appalachian Tree Company. The job was to trim 29 Leland Cypress trees, cut out 3 large unknown bushes and remove all the debris. They arrived on time, did a fantastic job with absolutely amazing efficiency, cleaned up and were gone in 90 minutes!! They were extremely careful and totally respectful of our property. We have been patients it Dr. Mike, Dr. Dave and Dr. Sheer for a while now. I am also so impressed with how they treat our daughters. When they are scared, they are beyond good with them and have given them such a positive experience I know they will grow into adults who aren't afraid to see a dentist. Dr. Mike and Dr. Dave have gone above and beyond with our girls and their dental work. Dr. Sheer is an equally amazing orthodontist who even reaches out on weekends with guidance when emergencies arise. The entire office is also conservative in that they don't rush to pull lots of teeth to start ortho super young. The wait and see approach has been so comforting for us as parents and also for our girls. I'm so happy we chose them to be our dental and orthodontist providers and I wish I could see them ? The office staff is also personable, kind, and handles all financial matters with clarity. I only hate leaving this review because I don't want the office to be more crowded ?

So, I have been to a few different comercial massage business, a small number of private massage business, and some vacation places (like cruises and resorts). first off... all thoses big comercial business are by far hit or miss (mostly miss) But even amongset some of the better more client oriented small/personal business... Untangled stands out by far the best! Stacey has been the most approachable massage therapist I have ever encountered. she always listens to your massage need/concerns with absolute genuineness and can tailor a session that matches. I have had several sessions with her over the years (but not as often I should/would like). Infact, part of me doesn't want to write this so I can have more of her availability to my self! and the best for me, (not really helpfull for others) is she is less than 1/2 mile from my house! so really I don't have any excuses to go more often than I have. So this is my shout out and love to Untangled Massage and also to my town of Mt. Airy!!!
