“I guess I should have submitted a review a long time ago because my dog, Angus has been enjoying his daycare experiences for well over 2 yrs at Lucky Stars. Angus is a rescue and I was told his original owner developed dementia, so he can be anxious and a handful. I think the socialization for Angus has really helped him. Our gratitude goes out to the entire staff-Gerry, Leila, Bardie, Brianna, Jordan, Prayse, Lauren, and Kaylin. I know there are others I have missed, but please know the work you do is greatly appreciated. Bardie has been grooming Angus for well over a year and she does a fabulous job. He smells nice and she does a great job on his nails. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank all of you!“

“I LOVE Summer Meadows Pet Spa. Locally you will not find a better groomer than Katie for your beloved feline family members! Gus is my devon rex kitten who, though short haired, has a curly coat and specific grooming needs. He comes occasionally to Katie and each time she treats him as one of her own beloved furry family members. I work in veterinary medicine and for so long there has been such an unfortunate misunderstanding of cats by the humans who care for them. I love taking Gus to a groomer who respects his boundaries, is cage free (he is a certified cage hater—cannot be tamed!), and one on one so he is not stressed by unfamiliarity. Gus is never upset to walk in the door and that is something I really appreciate. Thank you Katie for all you do for the pets in our community!“

“we were so glad to have went with paw parlor for our super long haired corgi mix, we needed a groomer that understood how to groom a dog with a thick under coat without messing up his coat forever- and thats what we found here! we’re actually excited to take him to his upcoming second appointment lol. i should also mention, the first time we got him groomed (at a different groomer in hanover) he was extremely upset afterwards and seemed nervous about going anywhere for a few months in fear of going back there… so i was nervous about leaving him at another groomer and was also afraid he’d get snappy with this new groomer.. but when i picked him up he didnt just look like a new dog, he was acting like a new dog as well! he was happy and excited and they even said he wasnt snappy at all with them! so i know for a fact they treat their fur clients with the utmost love and respect 🥹 prices are great, i think $100 for his first full grooming service in a while was reasonable considering he had huge knots behind the ears (and like i said, a whole lot of top coat hair to cut carefully) so we will never take our Murphy boy anywhere else, only the best of the best for our fur babies, right? paw parlor is exactly that.. highly recommend!

“Mr. Jim and Ms. Trish are the absolute best! My two 55 lb mutts have been seeing them for over 5 years. Ms. Trish is super patient with my husky mix who is not a fan of having her nails done and prepared the sun room just the way my collie mix liked it for relaxing before and after her groom. I’m so grateful for the grooming care they’ve provided. If you live in the Hampstead/Reisterstown area you should consider giving them a call to get on their waitlist. We moved to the Annapolis area and for over 9 months still made the trip north for their services. You won’t find a better groomer and nicer people to groom your furry four legged friends.“
