I LOVE Summer Meadows Pet Spa. Locally you will not find a better groomer than Katie for your beloved feline family members! Gus is my devon rex kitten who, though short haired, has a curly coat and specific grooming needs. He comes occasionally to Katie and each time she treats him as one of her own beloved furry family members. I work in veterinary medicine and for so long there has been such an unfortunate misunderstanding of cats by the humans who care for them. I love taking Gus to a groomer who respects his boundaries, is cage free (he is a certified cage hater—cannot be tamed!), and one on one so he is not stressed by unfamiliarity. Katie has exceptional service and a great attitude! The shop is clean and smells really nice- a very warm and welcoming environment. The spa experience she offers compares to none. I knew Summer Meadows was the best place to suit our pets needs and regular maintenance for their grooming. ❤️ Katie is one of the few certified feline master groomers around, and her effort and appreciation to her work always shows! Her professionalism is apparent and you can tell the cats really feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed when arriving and leaving. The cats look better than ever!!!
I started bringing my long-haired cat to Summer Meadows because he is an older, husky boy who has trouble grooming himself and was developing mats. I was a little concerned about how he would behave after he nipped me when I tried to shave him. I was surprised that Katie has had no issues at all with his behavior, because she is so calm, loving and patient. My cat adores her, and comes home clean and smelling wonderful! Katie is very knowledgeable and knows how to bring out the best in our cats. She has my highest recommendation!
