“I am a regular client in the salon and I enjoy the services I receive from Stacey, she's very professional and goes above and beyond to make sure I'm pleased with the services she provides!!!! But however now that we're in the colder months of the year the salon is extremely cold!!! I have asked Stacey several time about turning the heat up and she says I have to talk to the owner because he controls the heat. I have a medical condition and I have to sit in the salon with my coat and gloves on! That is so unacceptable being that I'm a paying customer!“

“If you’re looking for a true neighborhood gem, Dandelion is the Hope Diamond of Baltimore City. Aubrey is my personal stylist, and I absolutely love and adore her!

I moved to Baltimore two years ago and needed to find a new stylist. I wanted a salon I could walk to from my apartment, and it’s safe to say I got incredibly lucky when I stumbled upon Dandelion. The salon itself is calming, stylish, and chic, with a special warmth that’s created by Aubrey, Molly (and now Selina).

I always look forward to my appointments because I know I’m in for a treat. From the moment I walk in, I’m greeted with a smile and a “how are ya.” Molly and Aubrey go above and beyond to make sure you’re cared for, whether that’s offering a snack, a drink (alcoholic or nonalcoholic), or a relaxing head massage at the bowl. Their customer service is 10/10.

Beyond the incredible atmosphere, Aubrey’s skill as a hairstylist is top-notch. She’s always open to trying whatever I have in mind and somehow makes it even better than I imagined. I always feel confident and cared for when I’m in her chair. And shoutout to Molly, who is always so friendly, welcoming, and just as talented as her BFF Aubrey. I love the conversations that circulate throughout the salon—I always leave with some kind of knowledge. (Did you know all Skittles taste the same? ?)

“The Beehive I think for the average woman and some men, it's important and hard to find that hairdresser/salon that gets you and where you feel comfortable. For my husband, it could be Great Clips or any average place. For people like my sister and I that have this crazy, like really crazy, curly hair and when you grew up in the 80s, it was a painstaking, traumatizing (and I'm not joking) search to find that hairdresser that gets you and your hair. It took me 40 years to find someone that kind of got my hair, and another 5 to find someone and a Salon, that FINALLY got it! Someone that didn't hesitate and dove right in and made my hair gorgeous! The coloring, her straightening it with beachy waves has been a, seriously, life-changing thing for me. I think, ok we joke, that Kimberly has to do an arm workout before I get there, however, it is my favorite appointment and I look forward to it, to the point that my husband has to get the scoop afterwards. The beauty of The Beehive is that you walk in there, and you feel like you're with friends. Kim's got my hair, I trust her, it looks great every time, but we talk as well.. About TV shows, about our lives, we keep tabs on what's happening. And then, you've got Brenda, who also has a heart of gold. The two of them are the dynamic duo. They have such good hearts and senses of humor. I can't leave the place without talking to both of them, and feel so much better leaving. It's my favorite hive to bee in.“

“I brought my daughter here for a manicure & pedicure for her upcoming prom. Aubrie was fantastic, very personable and super helpful. When I realized that I made the appointment for a manicure with gel polish and not a manicure with gel extensions, Aubrie was very understanding and helped in explaining the difference. “I first came across Define when looking for a new hair stylist for my daughters and I. I moved to MD from out of state last year and had no found a place that could meet our expectations. We had a horrible experience at another place and were nervous about trying somewhere new. However- the minute we walked into the salon for my daughters hair appointment, we were greeted with a new customer bag full of goodies, chocolate and also a buy one get one free product sale since it was our first time.

Our hair stylist is Sierra and she did an ABSOLUTELY amazing job on our daughter. Being Puerto Rican and Mexican - our hair is very course and naturally curly- so I was nervous about whether or not she would know how to deal or manage our hair while blow crying it. (Often times in previous experiences our hair always comes out puffy and frizzy because the hair stylist doesn’t really know how to style our type of hair) however - sierra did an AMAZING job and my daughters hair came out 10/10. Right then and there I booked for myself and I as well came out extremely happy with my cut and layers. I cannot recommend this place enough. We finally found our place. I suffer very bad from anxiety and it had been almost two years since I had step foot in a salon and Sierra and the front desk made me feel so comfortable and at home.

“Made an appt after reading reviews for a blowout with Amber. Parking was easy as there is st parking and garages. The studio is bright and airy and the staff is very welcoming. I was checked in quickly and offered water. Amber came to introduce herself and started on my hair after a quick chat.
The shampoo chair and sink is probably the most comfortable I’ve ever been in.
Amber did the fastest blowout I’ve ever had and gave me the best sleek look. My hair is pretty long and she knew exactly how to manage it which isn’t easy to find.
