“I started with Drayer Physical Therapy Institute in mid March after my hip replacement surgery. Alex and Rashard both worked with me and were very invested in my recovery. I never felt rushed in any of my sessions, and felt they listened to me as a person. They were very responsive to all the questions and were very good at tweaking my treatment plan as I moved along. I loved seeing Rashard's question of the day each time I went in.
However, Rashard left on paternity leave, and Alex changed to part-time. While another knowledgeable PT filled in for two weeks, it was not the same level and care that I had been used to. There was a loss of continuity in the treatment for two of the last three visits. During the last visit, Alex was great at working with me to plan my way forward upon discharge.
Although I feel that my time spent with Drayer was successful, I also felt that it became too crowded at times resulting in frustration because the two therapists were not always able to spend quality time with any one patient.
If and when I need physical therapy again, I would think twice about going back unless there were dedicated therapists who had the time to spend with each patient, which I attribute to a management problem, not the therapists.“
