MMV and the owner, Manuel Villalta, were excellent in all respects. He and crew performed a wide variety of services to help our property become spectacular after we just moved into our home. He was very responsive to our needs and addressing unexpected landscape challenges, especially in replacing a deteriorating retaining wall. His crew was excellent in fulfilling our requests and additions and modifications. They were friendly, prompt and thorough. Besides replacing the retaining wall, they added a fence, overhauled the gardens, rebuilt hardscape that had deteriorated. The fees and payment schedule were fair and flexible. I can't say enough good things about Manuel and his crew. I've used his services for over 4 years, and our yard is so much the better for it! He's planted countless trees and shrubs, created 2 stone patios, a hand-stacked stone wall, and a gravel pathway (all of which he designed), as well as creating garden beds and general garden maintenance. Oh, and did I mention that he is a stellar tree pruner? My Japanese maples look awesome thanks to Manuel. His prices are fair, and he is extremely responsive to calls. Manuel and his crew are always smiling and so friendly, truly a joy to work with. You absolutely cannot go wrong with MMV Landscaping!!
From the minute we met Manuel we knew he was a cut above. He listens, asks questions and knew exactly what to do to help us with our yard. He has the ability to envision the whole project and at the same time perceive the details. Our yard had serious drainage issues and he solved them expertly. He cleverly re-used bricks from a pre-existing patio as a side walkway around our porch. His crew built a beautiful walking path and an affordable lovely pebbled patio. He's a pro: thoughtful, creative and knowledgeable. And at the end of every work day our yard was immaculate. We highly recommend MMV Landscaping & Stonework!
