I needed to have my hair done for a function I would be attending. It was about 12 noon and my function was scheduled for 7 pm. I had a lot to do so I needed to find a salon close to home and because my hair is natural, I wanted a Domican salon. M & R is about 10 minutes from my home so I decided to give it a try---as a walk in. Katty was my stylist. I can sum up her skills with 6 words: "This woman can DO some hair! She took her time and ensured that my hair was super straight. Her styling skills are at the master level. Two days later it's still looking great. Prices are 100% realistic. I have paid double this fee at other salons. I SHALL return!

Carlo ‘The Baby Whisperer’ did an amazing job with our almost 2 year old’s hair. He is a very energetic child and he sat perfectly still for Carlo and looked so handsome after his first ever hair cut!

I've been to several Dominican salons. Most of them are good, don't get me wrong, but M&R is my and my two daughters absolute FAVORITE. The staff is always nice. I'm picky about shampooists -- I always feel relaxed here. And I don't feel as though I'm being burned (which has happened elsewhere . Here they ASK if it's too hot!) I always get in right away, and I don't feel rushed like some of the larger salons who are trying to pack too many people in at once. Plus they are so convenient for us to get to!!! I've done enough experimenting: M&R has my business (and my daughters as well) as long as they are in this location! I'm one of those loyal customers...if they ever move (hopefully never ðŸ˜), we'll go to where they are...

I received an excellent service. My first time visiting here and, from the moment I walked in on a Sunday afternoon, I requested for a vigorous wash as my hair was extremely itchy and i got just that. Had a deep conditioner treatment and a hair trim for my split ends. My natural hair looks nice and healthy. I'll definitely be back here.
