We’ve been going to VNIOC for 3.5 years now for our dog, Chubs. He has a very complicated case of idiopathic epilepsy. Prior to being referred to VNIOC, vets and specialists we saw were unable to help us manage his seizures. Since seeing Dr. McDonnell at VNIOC, Chubs has had a drastic decrease in seizures and is living a normal and happy life. Any time chubs has a seizure, they contact us to check in. Dr McDonnell in neurology has provided spectacular care for my very special boy over the past 6 years. The staff knows Gus-Gus by name and handle him with TLC, making sure he gets extra lovins. He always leaves happy and healthy!
I can't say enough good things about the team at VNIOC. I first brought my dog, Tegan, here for a neurology consult, and from day one they were kind, knowledgeable, and communicated clearly with both me and my primary veterinarian.
Lat month, when Tegan suddenly began declining, VNIOC was able to fit her in for a consult, MRI, and attempted spinal tap the very same day through Pet ER. Unfortunately, despite everyone's best efforts, Tegan was laid to rest that night.
