I had my first proper eye exam in about a decade and had a really great experience. The doctor was friendly, knowledgeable, and very professional. The staff were also welcoming and pleasant. I'll definitely be back.

Dr. Gerald Thompson is amazing! He is an expert in his field and has such great patient care. He remembers you, is engaging and so knowledgeable in his profession. Love coming to see them! My only issue is the price for glasses. Don’t get me wrong I’ve worn glasses since elementary school and know the struggle of paying $400+ each year but now with online vendors offering cheaper glasses it’s hard rationalizing that now at any brick and mortar shop.

Both Dr. K Thompson and the entire staff were professional, knowledgeable and personable.The reason I'm writing this review is that I have seen several reviews on here regarding how the techs or staff are in some way unprofessional or problematic., but my personal experience was very different.Everyone (from the woman who greeted us, to the Dr, to the guy to makes the glasses, to the optician who took our IPD) was great and not as others seem to have experienced. I will be returning.

We have two lab technicians with close to 20 years experience each, also able to make drill mount (hand made) glasses onsite. Full functioning eyeglass lab, large selection of frames, contact lenses, and lens options. Very experienced opticians, some over 20 years experience. Dr. Kathryn Thompson specializes in low vision evaluations, magnifiers and telescopes. She also enjoys young kid exams, Kindergarten and older.
