Our three-year stint with Baldwin Homes building our custom Bill house started promising but crashed hard. The foundation review revealed our house rotated, shrinking our one-acre lot's backyard drastically. No promised walk-throughs after subcontractors or insulation—everything inspected post-drywall. Light switches awkwardly placed far back, needing full room entry to find them. Windows swapped to unknown off-brand from expected Pella; stickers removed to hide the change—we'd have paid extra if asked. Purchased a home in Hanover area. They need better contractors and service providers. Within first year appliance issues, electrical issues. HVAC system just popped up even though under warranty Trane said the installers did a shoddy job. Home itself has no problems.

Purchased a new home from their development in Severn Maryland .The home developed mold within the first year and the builders has refused to address the issue saying " Did the home have mold when we gave it too you"? My wife and I were very disappointed that this company didn't just ignore the issue but have ignored us ever since with the one year coming up soon. This is a large expense no one should have to incur with a home costing over $500k. I think it is worth noting other homes in our commuity have found mold as well.
