Albertines has become complete trash. I used to rock with Albertines Couture Hair Salon for years (almost 10 years). When I first started going there the interior left a lot to be desired but you knew that your hair was going to be slayed coming out. I stopped going for about a year because I cut all my hair off. They have since remodeled wonderful. However, my biggest issue with Albertines is that you can't book with a specific stylist. If someone did your hair the last time & you liked it & you want to go back to that person - nope. Albertine likes to "share the wealth". Save your money. I went in to get my new growth of my locs crocheted because i have fine hair and this speeds up the loc process for me. Instead of using the crochet needle she started to interlock my hair and use scissors to cut off the hair that did not go into the loc. I was charged $250 for them to play in my hair and ruin my locs. I asked for a refund or for them to fix what they did. Albertine said she would see if I could come in to fix the problem and fix my locs. then Started to ignore my calls and text. Very bad business. Save your money and your locs. If you need loc maintenance, go elsewhere!!!!

The owner is rude and careless and she hire untrained people to manage who knows nothing about hair.If you see a new worker, it's because everyone left . She doesn't pay workers on time and if you book an appointment with a braider or stylist, she will change it and give it to someone else. If she see a bad review, she will beg customers to write a good review to make her look better. I see most women that come here have no edges and no hair, thinning and bald. You will lose your hair from the tightness of braids and lace weave. No one is licensed. Ask to see their license next time and you will see for yourself.Go to a real stylist. She will post your videos... read full review
