I’ve been bringing my daughter here for a few years, and the staff is always wonderful. Malek, in particular, is amazing with my daughter’s extremely curly—and sometimes challenging—hair. She’s so gentle, and the end result is always beautifully done and much easier to manage. Highly recommended.

Malek at Sharkey’s Kid Cuts is amazing! I brought my 2-year-old son in today and for the first time ever he didn’t cry, scream, or try to jump out of the chair. Malek made him feel so comfortable from the moment we walked in — she talked to him, let him get familiar, and worked with so much patience and kindness.
The whole salon is set up perfectly for little ones. They have themed car chairs (my son chose the police car unsurprisingly ?) and TVs at each station which kept him entertained the entire time. His haircut looks great, blended well, and she even cleaned up his neckline and around his ears which other places rush through.
*****Update: Kaileigh reached out to us, listened to our concerns, and genuinely wanted to make things right. She personally fixed my son’s haircut and was incredibly patient, gentle, and kind with him. The experience was completely different, and my son did great with her. If we had originally booked with Kaileigh, this absolutely would have been a 5-star experience. We truly appreciate her taking the time to turn this around.
Had Malek as the stylist for my son (this is the second time she cut his hair) thought maybe this time would a better experience but for 40$ not worth it. My sons had a pleasant experience elsewhere but it was out of town so... read full review
