I was looking for a place to go for my daughter and I to get a haircut before our summer vacation. Nothing special, just a trim… but from someone more ‘trustworthy’ than a regular ‘old’ hair cuttery. Whenever I went to someone before, they would chop off way more than asked. I googled and found this salon and it was highly rated. I secured an appointment on their website and was even able to choose my stylist. I chose ‘Iris’ who was apparently a lead stylist, and obviously a female. My daughter, who is only 5, specified she would feel more comfortable with a female. However, when I arrived, there was only one person present, which was a male. I assumed maybe he was just going to shampoo us and Iris was running late. Either way, no one else ever showed up and ‘James’ was the one who proceeded to shampoo/cut/dry both of us. I even brought to his attention that I booked Iris, and he had no explanation to provide. Lastly, their website said the services would be $35 per person. However, he charged me $80 and my daughter $50. I thought he said $15 for my daughter…. So when I was charged a total of $130, I was shocked. I still tipped him what I originally planned, so ended up spending much more than expected. Between being WAY overcharged for a simple trim (especially for a 5 year old) AND booking a specific stylist but getting someone completely different is just unprofessional and unacceptable. I will never return and not sure why they are rated so high.

My stylist Jaime was excellent. Very thorough and cut my hair exactly as I wanted. Great atmosphere and clean studio. Highly recommend it.

Carlos at K & I Salon was AMAZING with my 5 year old son! He was patient, skilled, friendly, and did exactly what we requested. The prices are very reasonable and we couldn’t recommend him enough!

Iris did an amazing job on my hair and the prices here are very reasonable. My mom loved my hair so much she booked an appointment for the next day with Iris and absolutely loved her hair as well. Highly recommend!

Chris was amazing, I'm a picky client I will admit. He was patient, understood step by step exactly what I wanted and most importantly delivered. Came in only wanted the top of my hair cut, ended up leaving with the full hair cut: beard; brows, sides, part, and top. THANK YOU CHRIS 😤🔥

My friend first brought me to the barber shop when it was located elsewhere in wheaton mall, and then they moved closer to me. I am very happy with the experience and the hair cut itself.
