“Maryland Carpet & Tile did a great job replacing very old carpet in our basement with glue down luxury vinyl plank. I appreciated that Brett took the time to go through our options, understand how we intended to use the space, and explained the pros and cons of different flooring.

The install process went really smoothly, even though the concrete under the carpet had a few surprises that had to be fixed before they could begin installing. Alen and his team took care of everything, communicated well, and did a great job.

We're very happy with the final result, and won't hesitate to work with them again when we get around to replacing other flooring in the house.“

Mr. Diaz came out, talked to us, and provided us with excellent input for our project. We received a detailed estimate broken down into individual tasks with labor and materials broken out. We are living in the house so the work had to be done around us. I can tell you that this is a very trying process but Diaz's courteous, professional and did everything they could to make us as comfortable as possible. At the end of each day they cleaned up prior to leaving and let us know when they would return the next day. We are very pleased with the final product. “I had my deck redone with Trex compost wood and a gazebo built on the deck. Elegant Homes did a good job on the deck. The gazebo is screened in and is strong and well built. While the construction was great, esthetically I expected more. The white guard rail on the steps doesn’t match the brown color scheme of the deck. I intend to paint over the white wrap around the deck and the white vent at the top of the gazebo. I also would have wanted embellishments around the top of the gazebo to add to its appeal. I’m sure I would enjoy my deck and gazebo for many years, I just would have wanted it to look more appealing.“

“The company did good work to remodel our 3 bathrooms. They had good suggestions for how to lay out bathrooms, and how to turn a closet into a bathroom. They incorporated our suggestions into the design. There were a few problems with the construction including an improperly vented toilet and a problem with the exhaust vents. They came out to fix these problems and I'm now happy with the work. I had a solar panel project completed by United Construction & Restoration and they are very unresponsive. My project by finished Oct of 2024 and they never sent my certificate of completion so that I can receive SREC payment benefits. How do you have a company who doesn't answer the phone, return voicemail messages or emails. 6 months without a response is unreliable and unprofessional.

Update 9/16/2025: After my initial review, I wanted to provide an update. United Construction remedied my solar project so that could obtain my certificates for credit with my srecs. They fully made sure I received retroactive credits with srectrade and made sure all of the proper paperwork was issued. They greatly apologized after their company went through a transition period and it showed, after solving my issue. Thank you for fixing the issue.“
