I operated my nail business at this Salon Lofts location for over 16 months as a fully compliant tenant. I paid rent on time, followed all policies, and built a strong, fully booked clientele without ever receiving any warnings or notices of noncompliance.
I was recently informed that my lease would not be renewed due to a “permitted use” issue related to restrictions in the Master Lease with the property owner. This was the first time I was made aware that there could be any limitation affecting nail services, and this information was never disclosed to me at the time I was approved or throughout my tenancy.
