I recently had an appointment scheduled for my annual diabetic eye exam. Overall, the staff was courteous and helpful, but I wanted to share some feedback that could improve the patient experience.
When I received the call to schedule the appointment, I was happy they had availability the very next day. However, I was not informed that my HMO insurance required a referral from my primary care physician before the visit. After arriving, checking in, and spending time at the office, I learned that I would need to reschedule and obtain the referral first.

Dr Wood been so nice and professional with my eye emergency. Even doing a follow up on the week end coming to the clinic just for me! I can’t thank him enough for caring so much!
I walked in in total pain after something got in my eye. I have never been here before and they were so amazing making room for me immediately. The doctor saw me so quickly and I have never been more grateful. I was really impressed with the front desk and the medical assistant staff in how compassionate they were and how great the doctor was. I will absolutely come back as a regular patient.
