“I would like to commend Platinum Concrete Coatings for the exceptional five-star job they did installing my new Polyurea garage floor coating. Compared to my previous epoxy-coated floor, which had begun peeling and had become a real eyesore, the transformation is simply remarkable. Words—and even photographs—cannot fully capture the dramatic improvement the new Polyurea coating has made. In short, my new garage floor is absolutely, stunning.
As a dedicated do-it-yourselfer, I watched the entire installation process closely and was thoroughly impressed from start to finish. The two-man installation team arrived exactly as scheduled and immediately got to work preparing the floor. They began by using a large diamond grinder connected to a vacuum system to keep the concrete dust to a minimum. After repairing several minor cracks, they applied the self-priming Polyurea base coat. While the coating was still wet, they broadcast the decorative color flakes evenly across the surface. Once the base coat had cured—taking only about an hour and a half—they scraped and vacuum the excess flakes and applied the final topcoat using a squeegee and roller, producing a beautiful, durable finish.
I cannot say enough about the installation team. They were courteous, professional, and true craftsmen in every respect. Their attention to detail and pride in their work were evident throughout the entire process.
In addition to my outstanding experience with the installation crew, I would also like to recognize Janet, Platinum’s sales representative, who was exceptional from the very beginning. She arrived promptly at our home, answered all our questions, carefully measured the garage, provided actual color samples, and thoroughly explained the Polyurea installation process. Janet was knowledgeable, informative, and never once applied sales pressure. She addressed every concern we had and made the entire experience smooth and comfortable.
Our experience was so positive that both our son and daughter also chose Platinum Concrete Coatings to transform their garage floors.
