“I made a last minute visit and was able to be accommodated for a massage with just a few moments notice. They offer an array of services and had good educational materials on the walls related to the benefits of many plant based/herbal oil treatments/add-ons. While they had information on herbal oils and add ons, the use of artificial air fresheners was overwhelming in some of the common areas.

Many of the employees did not speak English which I have found can create barriers in communicating treatment plans for the client. For example, without prior conversation, my therapist removed the draping and slid down my underwear when working on my glute area which I was fine with and have always found common in therapeutic massage;however, I can see how this could catch someone off guard if they are new to massage or have prior trauma related concerns with regard to consensual touch. I feel this is something that should be discussed with clients prior to service. My massage was well done and I had a good experience. I do believe in supporting multicultural businesses and especially those employing women.

I did find it sad that they had to post a sign in the treatment rooms stating that they don’t provide sexual or illegal services.“
